A mark which is used in business as known Trade Mark. The Trade Mark is a valuable Intellectual Property and it should be protected by way of registration under The Trade Marks Act, 1999 & The Copyright Act, 1957.

The Trade Name/Company Name should also be protected by way of registration under The Trade Marks Act, 1999 & The Copyright Act, 1957. Merely registration under The Partnership Act, 1932 or Trade Tax or Vat or Companies Act, 1956 as PVT. LTD. Or Ltd. Neither provides any exclusive rights nor any support. When the application/petition lodged by the registered proprietor of Trade Mark under Section 22 of The Companies Act, 1956, the Company Name should rectify by the Regional Director, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, so please take the appropriate steps for registration to protect the Trade Mark and Trade Name/Company Name and enjoy the brand's goodwill & its exclusive rights generation to generation.
